Dry mouth     The insufficient production of saliva inhibits the self-cleaning of the oral cavity, the moistening and lubrication of the mucous membrane, the neutralization of acid plaque, as well as the remineralization of the enamel and dentin.   EMOFLUOR Oral moisturizer is a gel, which was developed and tested at the Clinic for Preventive Dentistry, Periodontology and Cariology at the University of Zurich.

Indications: Dry mouth due to diminished saliva flow   Characteristics:
•	the gel forms a protective layer on the mucous membrane and teeth
•	provides lasting humidity
•	provides fluoride and protects against caries
•	the viscosity of the gel corresponds more or less to that of human saliva and the pH value (7,5) lies in the physiological range.
